World Cup 2010 Referees
Questions and AnswersVote for: Should referees be learning swear words in English to catch out players?
world cup 2010 | Jun 10th, 2010 | by Kevin Walsh

| Yes. I am glad they're doing it. |

| Leave it be. The refs deserve the abuse they get. |

| There are some sayings that are universal. |
After Rooney was booked in England's last friendly for yelling obscenities at the ref, Brazilian ref Carlos Simon and his assistants are learning foul mouth words in English to catch players using them towards referees in the games. Do you think this is a little over-the-top or should the refs be watching out for disrespect in tongues not native to their own?

Vote for: Will England miss David Beckham's presence at the World Cup 2010 in June?
england | Mar 16th, 2010 | by Kevin Doocey

| Yes, who wouldn't miss his crosses into the box? |

| No, he was never going to last the 90 minutes anyway |
Heartbreak for Beckham as an injury in Milan's 1-0 win over Chievo Verona was dampned with the news that David Beckham will not feature in England's 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The question is though, will England as a team perform or will the reel in the absence of the veteran winger?

Vote for: Carlos Dunga has announced the Brazil 23 man squad for the World Cup and Ronaldinho is not part of it! Is that a good decision from the manager?
mundial | May 12th, 2010 | by JohnnyKarp

| It's the right call, he's been out of shape for years. |

| Bad decision, Ronaldinho still is a world class player. |
Carlos Dunga has adopted a different approach than the other coaches who announced extended 30 man teams. He picked a 23 man squad and 7 replacement players and star AC Milan player Ronaldinho is part of the second bunch which means that he will go to South Africa only if somebody from the fist 23 gets injured.

Vote for: Which player Should get the axe from Fabio Capello's World Cup squad?
world cup | May 30th, 2010 | by Brandon
Fabio Capello has admitted that there are still three places up for grabs in his World Cup squad as England go into their final warm-up match against Japan on Sunday. The England manager already knows in his own mind 20 of the men he will call upon in South Africa next month. The remaining 10 will head into the match in Graz knowing they must scrap for their lives to claim one of that trio of remaining tickets. Likely candidates for the axe include Michael Dawson, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Scott Parker. Tom Huddlestone and Darren Bent both start on Sunday knowing a failure will probably end their hopes too.
