Vote for: Did Blackburn's keeper Paul Robinson deserve to get a place in England's World Cup squad?
mundial | May 13th, 2010 | by JohnnyKarp
Paul Robinson was left out of Capello's provisional squad, the chosen keepers were Joe Hart, Robert Green and David James. His manager, Sam Allardyce, was shocked by the decision: "I think that if you look at his form for Blackburn Rovers, there's not a better English goalkeeper who has consistently performed as well as he has. So it clearly can't be anything else other than something that Fabio has against him."

The key question mark surrounds the fitness of Milan defender Oguchi Onyewu, who has not played since October. Up front Hull's Jozy Altidore is guaranteed to make the final cut, with MLS top-scorer Edson Buddle, Mexico-based Herculez Gomez, Charlie Davies, Robbie Findley, Brian Ching and Eddie Johnson fighting it out for the remaining spots.
