I'm not sure

Cesc Fabregas has placed his future in the hands of Arsene Wenger and says he will not let his possible transfer to Barcelona distract him from his World Cup campaign with Spain. "I will only say one thing, I have great respect for Arsene Wenger, for Arsenal Football Club and for the Arsenal fans," Fabregas said in a press conference. "Sometimes not even in my house have I felt more loved than I have at Arsenal. "He told me to concentrate on my football, to concentrate on the World Cup. He told me to leave it in his hands and he will deal with whatever happens for my future. That is what I'm doing: concentrate on my football."

Should Giuseppe Rossi have been cut from Italys final 23?

south africa | Jun 3rd, 2010 | by Kevin Walsh
no good enough
No... he's not good enough.
played usa
He'd be there if he played for the USA.
definitely good enough squad
He is definitely good enough for that squad.

He could have played for the USA but the young striker who used to play for the great Man United choose his parents native home instead. However, Italy choose not to bring the Left footer to South Africa and some are saying this is pay back for scoring two against his birth country in a 2006 Confederations Cup game. However, the player has had a poor season in Spain with Villarreal due to injury and apparent personal sufferings 9the death of his father due to a long term illness) so he should be cut some slack. But do Italy have the resources to leave such a player at home or did they make a huge mistake?

German midfielder Michael Ballack has a few things to worry about this summer. How Germany will do in South Africa without him? Where will he play next season? Who is to blame for his exit from Stamford Bridge? All these good questions to ask but to be approached slightly different. Ballack blames the Russian for this seasons demise, who or what do you think?

Vote for: Will Australia improve to beat Ghana?

mundial | Jun 18th, 2010 | by JohnnyKarp
yes socceroos win
Yes, the Socceroos will win.
afraid not ghana strong
I'm afraid not, Ghana are too strong.

Australia had a terrible debut game as they were demolished by a rampant Germany, Klose and company won 4-0 and they could easily have scored more. On the other hand Ghana got off to a good start by beating Serbia 1-0. Can the Socceroos pick themselves up and win against Ghana?
