Tenth placed Liverpool will be looking to make a move up the table by beating bottom of the table Wolves on Wednesday but the Wolverhampton side will surely battle bravely to grab a point or even more at Anfield Road. Wolves suffered a painful home defeat last Sunday as they got beaten 2-1 by Wigan while Liverpool's last game was on December 11th when they got beaten 3-1 at Newcastle.

It seems as it Portsmouth have been relegated from the Premier League but there are 2 spots to fill yet. Last year, we saw both North-East clubs be relegated from the Premier League, Newcastle United & Middlesbrough. However, will we see any last day dramatics this season?

Chelsea were held to a thrilling 3-3 draw at home against Aston Villa and the Blues slipped into fifth place. The next game will see them playing at Wolves on Wednesday and Ancelotti's men will have to grab the three points if they want to stay in the title race. Wolves are coming from a painful 2-0 defeat at West Ham in the direct relegation battle and are bottom of the table on 18 points.

Wolves picked up a precious three points today against a Burnley side that have missed a lot since Owen Coyle's departure. However, both teans are near the relegation zone and far from comfortable. Could Mick McCarthy & Wolves manage safety in the coming weeks?

Chelsea suffered another defeat and this time struggling bottom club Wolves scraped past the Blues. Ancelotti's side are now nine points off league leaders Manchester United having played a game more, but the manager remains quite optimistic: "We have to maintain confidence and move on. Nothing is lost in the season. It is difficult to fight for the title but nothing is lost. There are a lot of games and we have to keep going."

League leaders Manchester United will meet bottom of the league Wolves on Saturday. Manchester United are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League at the moment with 15 wins and nine draws out of 24 games while Wolves are struggling to move off the bottom spot after grabbing just six wins until now.

An important relegation battle will take place on Sunday as 17th placed West Brom will take on bottom club Wolves. There are only three points separating the two teams in the Premier League table so this will be a crucial game for both sides. West Brom grabbed a 3-3 draw against West Ham last week but new manager Roy Hodgson will be looking to get all three points this time. Wolves were beaten 2-0 at Arsenal last week.
