Vote for: Franz Beckenbauer: "The English players are tired". Do you agree?
mundial | Jun 24th, 2010 | by JohnnyKarp

| I totally agree, they are tired and they will pay for that. |

| Every player at the World Cup is tired, that's nonsense. |
Former German player and coach Franz Beckenbauer declared that England's players are tired and that's one of the reasons which prevented them from finishing top of their World Cup group. Here's what he said: "There is a good reason for that: the Premier League players have got to play far more games than their Bundesliga colleagues, including two national cup competitions. Therefore, when it comes to a World Cup or a European Championships, they are burnt out.Our players, on the other hand, seem to be in a physically better condition." Do you agree with his considerations?

england | Jun 12th, 2010 | by CathalBreathnach
I am sure you have all seen or heard about Robert Green's howler which cost England victory in tonight's World Cup Group C game against USA. Clint Dempsey's shot from all of 25-yards looked to be heading straight into the hands of Green. However, the West Ham keeper made a mess of things and as a result, the ball rolled into the net. Will Fabio Capello start Green in England's next World Cup game against Algeria? Vote now!
