It's a mistake, he surely can still play at the highest level.

Barcelona have reached an agreement with the 32-year old French striker allowing him to leave the club. The most likely destination will be the Major League Soccer with the New York Red Bulls being the most likely candidates for his signature. A club official stated that "for Barca it is not a bad agreement because we avoid paying him next season." What do you think?

They could live to regret spending that much on them...

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini declared that he will allow his two players to move at Spurs: "Tottenham have bid €35m, an offer we cannot refuse, seeing as the two players have both said they want to leave." Tottenham have to prepare for the Champions League and these two players will surely improve their defense and attack. What do you think?

Should Juventus pay 14 million pounds to keep midfielder Alberto Aquilani?

pay worth that
They should pay, he's worth more than that!
quite expensive good players less
That's quite expensive, they can get good players for less.

Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani is currently on loan at Juventus from Liverpool but the Italian club will have to pay 14 million pounds if they want to keep the player on a permanent basis after the end of the current season. After a £20m move to Liverpool from Roma in 2009, Aquilani struggled with injuries in his debut Premier League campaign and it was decided last summer, when Roy Hodgson was in charge of the English club, that a temporary return to Italy would be beneficial. Aquilani has enjoyed his time with Juventus, who are understood to want to keep the creative midfielder.
