That's shocking, calling up a 28 year old mediocre Championship player...

Fabio Capello made another surprising decision by calling up Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd, a man that could make his debut for England at the age of 28! He did score 13 goals in 14 appearances in the Championship this season but still, calling up a second-level player is surprising. The last time that happened was in 2007 when David Nugent was called up while playing in the Championship.

draw
It will be a draw.

England will meet Denmark on Wednesday in an international friendly match which will see both sides trying to recover from previous unconvincing results. England lost their last international game, 2-1 against France, and were held to a goalless draw by Montenegro in the Euro 2012 qualifiers. Denmark recorded a 0-0 draw against the Czech Republic in their last outing.
