Stoke City manager Tony Pulis stated that his 29-year old winger Matty Etherington totally deserves a place in the England squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro. Pulis: “Matty has been brilliant for us this season. His form has been England class. It’s not just his quality on the ball, but his exceptional work-rate. It’s up to Fabio Capello where England is concerned, but I know what I would do.”

After getting beaten by Manchester United last Monday Arsenal will be looking to get back on track with a home win against Stoke City. The Potters also had a setback last weekend as they were beaten at home by Blackpool so they will be fighting to recover the lost points and stay above the relegation zone.

After the narrow 2-1 triumph at West Brom the Red Devils will face Stoke City at Old Trafford on Tuesday. The Potters are coming from a solid 2-0 home win against Everton and they are proudly sitting 8th in the Premier League table.

Second placed Arsenal will meet 10th placed Stoke City on Wednesday in a game that could move the Gunners just one point behind leaders Manchester United. After the historic win against Barcelona in the Champions League Arsenal were held to a draw in the FA Cup by lower league side Leyton Orient while Stoke breezed past Brighton last weekend in the same competition.

10th placed Stoke City will meet defending champions Chelsea on Saturday at the Britannia Stadium in a game that could end the Blues' title hopes if they lose. Chelsea are nine points behind leaders Manchester United (but with a game in hand) following a 2-0 victory against top four rivals Manchester City. The Potters grabbed a very convincing win in their last game, 4-0 against Newcastle, and are proudly sitting in 10th place, five points above the relegation zone.
