Chelsea will grab the three points, that's certain!
sunderland snatching draw maybe even more
I can see Sunderland snatching a draw and maybe even more!

Last season Chelsea demolished Sunderland at Stamford Bridge, that game ended 7-2! Sunderland seem to be more confident now as they are in 8th position but can they get anything out of the game?

No, if he doesn't win his next game, it's over!

Steve Bruce took over Sunderland with high hopes and managed wins against Arsenal, Liverpool and a draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford. It's turned from sweet to sour for Brucey though and we want to know whether you think he'll stay much longer!

manchester city win
Manchester City will win.
sunderland win
Sunderland will win.
draw
It will be a draw.

Fourth placed Manchester City will have a tough home game on Sunday as they welcome 9th placed Sunderland. Manchester City will have to win if they want to stay in the title race since they are already 10 points behind leaders Manchester United while Sunderland are in a strange position: a win could boos their chances for an Europa League spot while a defeat will bring them closer to relegation! Both teams lost their last league games, both 2-0: Sunderland at home against Liverpool and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea.

Vote for: After scoring 2 and missing 2 penalties, will Darren Bent find himself boarding the English plane to South Africa?

darren bent | Apr 3rd, 2010 | by Kevin Doocey
yes forget misses going world cup
Yes, forget the misses, he's going to the World Cup!
no missed penalties ruined chances
No, the missed penalties have ruined his chances!

Darren Bent should've had 4 goals today but happened to miss two penalties thanks to the wood-work and good goalkeeping by Gomes. Still though, nearly 25 goals this season, is he going to be playing in South Africa?

sure will solid team
I'm sure they will, they have a solid team.
afraid not end mid table
I'm afraid not, they will end up in mid-table.

Sunderland had an impressive start to the season and they are in sixth spot after 13 games while they recorded just two defeats in the process and a famous win at Stamford Bridge last weekend. Star striker Darren Bent keeps his feet on the ground: "I'm sure people will start saying that we should be aiming for Europe. We are just taking things one game at a time and if we can get in a position to do that at the end of the season, we will be delighted."
