Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Real Madrid from Manchester United for £80 not long ago and has scored an abundance of goals so far. However, they paid eighty-million for a single player, will this move ever be a right one in the eyes of the clubs accountant?

Cristiano Ronaldo is doing a good job at Real Madrid and loving life there. It's a nice change from the rainy days at Old Trafford and the wage-packet isn't half bad either! Will we see Ronaldo play the rest of his career out at the Santiago Bernabéu ?

Sir Alex Ferguson may add just one more player to his Manchester United squad this summer as he plots to regain the Premier League title from Chelsea. United chief executive David Gill has indicated funds are available to his manager to spend this summer, but Ferguson revealed he is happy with the balance of his squad, which finished a point behind Chelsea in the title race.

England's striker Wayne Rooney, 24, has dismissed reports he is struggling with injuries ahead of this summer's World Cup. He had ankle and groin problems last season and also suffered from a stiff neck in England's 3-1 friendly win over Mexico.
