Vote for: Is taking off your jersey to celebrate really unsportsmanlike conduct and deserving of a yellow card?
soccer celebrations | Apr 12th, 2010 | by Editor

Yes. Players are only showing off their bodies.

Not at all, its getting caught up in the moment which makes the game exciting.

Don't really care. I'm comfortable with my body because I'm benching serious weights.

I hope they change the law back because it was the only time my wife didn't give me grief for watchin football.
After Tevez's penalty this weekend, he celebrated by taking his shinguard out which held the name of his daughter "Flop" (a whole other question will be devoted to that). In the past few years, FIFA have deemed that the removal of a jersey or the wearing of a specialized T-shirt underneath the jersey is a premeditated celebration and therefor unsportsmanlike, worthy of a yellow card. Are FIFA taking the rules a bit too far or do we need to monitor this?
