Yes. He has proved himself in Europe this past season.
replace soon
He'll have to replace him again soon.
world cup goes him
We will see how the World Cup goes for him...

Arsenal have confirmed that they have approached Fulham and Australian goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer. The keeper situation at the club is pretty dismal and they are looking to rectify that for the upcoming season. A cross town move for Schwarzer probably won't cost too much as the 37 year old will demand nowhere near what William Gallas is expecting. Is the netminder worth the trouble or should Wenger look elsewhere?

wenger cheap better keepers available willing pay
Wenger is cheap, there are better keepers available if you are willing to pay.

Arsene Wenger is still looking to add another goalkeeper to his squad because his two goalies, Almunia and Fabianski, are not exactly reliable. The latest rumors see Fulham's 38 year old goalie Mark Schwarzer being in pole position for a move to the Emirates Stadium. The veteran goalie begs Fulham to let him go: "Who wouldn't be keen to go to Arsenal? At this stage in my career it's an amazing opportunity to play at that level and one I really want to take."
