time season failure anyway
It will take time, this season will be a failure anyway.

Liverpool have confirmed that a takeover deal has been agreed with the owners of the Boston Red Sox baseball team. New England Sports Ventures, the parent company of the Red Sox, have seen a bid accepted by the Anfield board. Will that mean a change in fortunes for the Reds?

sir alex ferguson keep him good player
Sir Alex Ferguson will keep him, he's a good player.
afraid days old trafford end season
I'm afraid his days at Old Trafford will be over at the end of the season.

Michael Owen has yet again been ruled out by an injury and he admitted that he has not entered talks to renew his contract with Manchester United. The 30-year old striker will see his current deal expire at the end of the season and he said that if he won't be given a new contract with the Red Devils he might consider hanging up his boots.

ajax win
Ajax will win.
real madrid win
Real Madrid will win.
draw
It will be a draw.

Real Madrid (10 points) will need just one point to make 100% sure of qualifying to the next round while Ajax (4 points) will be hoping for a surprise win that might keep them in with a chance to beat AC Milan (5 points) to the second qualifying spot.

They will surely win the title!
afraid not slip eventually
I'm afraid not, they will slip up eventually.

Manchester United beat Arsenal 1-0 last night and moved top of the table, one point clear of the Gunners and Man City and with a game in hand, the postponed one at Blackpool. At this point Sir Alex Ferguson's men are looking good for the title, will they get it?

arsenal win
Arsenal will win.
manchester city win
Manchester City will win.
draw
It will be a draw.

The big derby on Wednesday will take place at the Emirates Stadium where third placed Arsenal will meet second placed Manchester City. Arsenal have a game in hand on the Citizens but they are two points behind so a win would see them leapfrog Mancini's side in the league table. Both teams won last weekend, Manchester City beat Blackpool 1-0 at home while Arsenal brushed aside Birmingham City 3-0 away.

chelsea successfully defend title
Chelsea will successfully defend their title.
afraid not happy top four spot
I'm afraid not, they should be happy with a top four spot.

Chelsea grabbed a convincing 4-0 win at Bolton yesterday and that follows another win a weekend before, 2-0 at home against Blackburn. The Blues are now in 4th place on 41 points, seven points behind leaders Manchester United but the Red Devils have a game in hand.

villarreal through
Villarreal will go through.
bayer leverkusen win
Bayer Leverkusen will win.

The first leg was a spectacular affair and Villarreal got the better of it after snatching a good 3-2 away win. The tie isn't over yet though as Leverkusen will do their best to turn things around in the second leg. Villarreal had a disappointing last league game as they were held to a 1-1 home draw by relegation candidates Sporting Gijon while Leverkusen grabbed three points after beating Mainz 1-0 away.
