fifa world cup | Jun 29th, 2010 | by Richard Frost

| Vicente DEL BOSQUE (Spain) |

| DUNGA (Brazil) |

| Milovan RAJEVAC (Ghana) |

| Deigo Maradona (Argentina) |

| Joachim LOEW (Germany) |
The talk has been about the Ronaldo-s, Villa-s and Torres-es , but seldom people appreciate the men behind these boys, the coaches. Of course, people do talk about coaches like Raymond Domenech and Fabio Capello at length but still, who do you think is the best coach so far in this tournament.

Football is not a mere game of kicking the ball into the net but us far more strategic one with set pieces, zone markings etc. A coach and his team conceives these plans and also acts as mentor for his team. A good coach guides his player to victory.

Vote for: Was the Lord Triesman right in resigning after 'bribe' storm?
lord triesman | May 16th, 2010 | by Brandon
The Mail on Sunday details a conversation between Triesman and a former aide in which the official, who was leading England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup, reportedly makes the allegations of corruption. Triesman is quoted as saying that Spain could withdraw from the race to host the 2018 World Cup if rivals Russia helped them to pay off match officials in South Africa. Spain would then switch their support to the Russian bid. However, Triesman has resigned following the arrival of damaging headlines at such a sensitive time for England's 2018 bid team. It is understood that he will remain in his other role as FA chairman for the time being. It is believed that the bid team has faxed letters of apology to its Spanish and Russian rivals, as well as FIFA, in an effort to distance itself from Triesman's alleged comments.
