Manchester City's Craig Bellamy agreed to join Championship side Cardiff City on loan for the rest of the season with around 75% of his wages (90,000 pounds per week) still being paid by the Citizens. Is that a good move for the 31-year old striker?

Blackpool earned an outstanding result at Anfield Road by beating Liverpool and now they hope to do the same at home against Man City. The Citizens are on a good Premier League run though, they won their last four games including the one against defending champions Chelsea.

After the narrow 2-1 triumph at West Brom the Red Devils will face Stoke City at Old Trafford on Tuesday. The Potters are coming from a solid 2-0 home win against Everton and they are proudly sitting 8th in the Premier League table.

Manchester City will be traveling to Ukraine on Thursday to meet Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of their Europa League round of 16 clash. Dynamo Kiev knocked out Turkish side Besiktas in the previous round and they did that in a dominant manner by winning 4-1 away and 4-0 at home. Manchester City eased past Aris Salonika in the previous round and they also won their latest league game, 1-0 against Wigan.
