French soccer magazine L'Equipe revealed that ex-Man United defender Laurent Blanc has been offered the national team job if he wants it. The Bordeaux manager, who has impressed the football community since his appointment over "les Girondins", is said to be announcing his decision at the end of the season. Is he the man for the job?

Ex Man Utd defender and Bordeaux manager Laurent Blanc has stepped down from his current position in order to take charge of the France national side. The only thing is, he will not be taking his reign until after the World Cup Finals. Do you think his decision is a little premature or was it better to leave now?

Bordeaux have announced that former player Jean Tigana will be the club's new manager, taking up the position made vacant by Laurent Blanc's departure to coach the French national team. Tigana, 54, has been out of management since leaving Turkish side Besiktas in 2007 and will likely be welcomed with open arms at Bordeaux - the club where he spent eight years of a hugely successful playing career.

More changes in Italy, this time to the Juventus. They have announced that Andrea Agnelli will take over for Jean-Claude Blanc making him the third President this season. The 34 year old has familial attachments to the club and has worked in sport before. Do you think this is what Juve needs, a new youthful leadership or should the players and coaches take the blame?
