Manchester City spent a huge amount of money in the summer bringing some big names. Only Carlos Tevez as such has performed out of all the signings and Mancini, even though only newly appointed, is facing serious pressure after their latest loss to Everton.

Reports claim that Manchester City are prepared to land Wolfsburg's 24-year old striker in January with total costs in the region of 35 million pounds. Manchester City's Brazilian forward Jo is said to be considering several offers to leave the club in January but his agent claims that the player wants to stay under Mancini's command. He made 18 appearances this season in all competitions and scored three goals but since Man City also signed Edin Dzeko the competition for a first team place might get even tougher.
