Vote for: Is Darren Bent Sunderland's best player ?

yes goal machine
Yes, he's a goal machine!
no plays sunderland nuf
No, he's plays for Sunderland - 'Nuf said

A lot of people will argue that Darren Bent deserves to be in the England squad jetting off to the World Cup in South Africa in June and they may have a point. He's scored half of Sunderland's goals this season and is one of the top scorers in the league at lowly Sunderland. Should Capello call him up?

playing country need incentives
It's playing for your country. You shouldn't need incentives.
wonder charged every goal concede
I wonder do they get charged that for every goal they concede.
deserve cash hard job
They deserve the cash. It's a hard job.

It has been reported that the South African Football Association will pay 1 million rand, the equivalent to over 86,000 pounds for every goal they score during the World Cup. That is quite an incentive for the host nation's team but is it too much, too little or generally taking away from the pride of playing for one's nation?
