18 year old Jack Rodwell from Everton is a defensive midfielder who can also play center back. "He was just 15 when he made his first reserve appearance, replacing David Weir in a game with Sheffield United in October 2006. Earned five caps for England’s under 16 team, and is now captain of the under 18s team." (from the Everton website) 22 year old Gervinho is already considered one of the star strikers at the Ligue 1, where he plays as a foreword for Lille. He is also captain of the Ivory Coast Olympic team and was just added to the national Ivory Coast roster for the World Cup. Many consider him to be Didier Drogba's heir. Romelu Lukaku is only 16, but that didn't stop him from starring on the Belgian league playing for Anderlecht, and scoring against such big teams as Ajax at the EUFA league. He's been said to be on Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Milan's watchlist. Italian teen Davide Santon has already been compared to Paulo Maldini. At 18, he's probably the best young attacking right defender in the country, and already plays for Inter, and on the national Italy squad. 17 year old Iker Muniain plays as a forward for Athletic Bilbao. He's the youngest player ever to score a goal in a first division match in La Liga, at 16. He also plays for the U17 Spanish team.

premier league | Jan 12th, 2011 | by JohnnyKarp

| Tottenham should grab him now, he's worth the 2 mil! |

| They should wait until summer, they don't need him right now. |
Everton's Steven Pienaar has agreed on a 70,000 pounds per week contract with Tottenham but the move could me made only in June after his current deal with the Toffees will expire. Tottenham can bring the midfielder in January for a fee of 2 million pounds, should they do that?

premier league | Aug 31st, 2010 | by JohnnyKarp
Everton's Mikel Arteta is eligible to claim British citizenship under residency rules and said that he would be interested in representing the Three Lions. The Basque is frustrated at being overlooked by Spain and says that it is up to the FA to make the next move: "The situation is the same as it has always been. No-one has contacted me about it and I said really clearly last week my thoughts about it." What do you think, would he be useful for England?

Vote for: Premier League, Liverpool vs Everton: what will be the result?
premier league | Jan 14th, 2011 | by JohnnyKarp
Another edition of the Merseyside Derby will take place at Anfield Road on Sunday and struggling Liverpool will be looking to get revenge for the 2-0 defeat they recorded at Everton earlier in the season. Liverpool are still looking for a win under new manager Kenny Dalglish as their last result was a 2-1 beating at Blackpool. On the other hand Everton grabbed a good 2-1 win against Tottenham last week and they are in 12th place, just one position above their arch rivals.
