Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was at Anfield Road to watch Benfica's Europa League tie with Liverpool and it is believed he was impressed by the duo. Man City are said to be preparing an offer for the South American pair and Benfica are ready to listen and grab the cash.

Benfica midfielder Angel di Maria is set for a £30 million move to Real Madrid, according to a report in Argentine newspaper Ole. The 22-year-old had been widely tipped as a transfer target for Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City after an impressive season at the Lisbon club, but is now set to join the Spanish giants instead.
