Barcelona are two points clear of Real Madrid but they will have to keep up the pace if they want to remain in the lead. Deportivo are currently 12th in the league but they are in good shape and grabbed a surprising 2-1 win at Bilbao last weekend.
Real Madrid will travel to meet 13th placed Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday and Mourinho's men will have to win if they want to keep the pressure on leaders Barcelona. Last week Real Madrid eased past lowly Levante while Deportivo grabbed a 1-1 draw at Almeria.
