Chelsea have grabbed just six points out of the last eight Premier League games and speculation is rising about Carlo Ancelotti's job. The Italian manager seems to remain confident though.

Chelsea got off to a rampant start of the season by winning their first two matches 6-0, at home with West Brom and away at Wigan. Their next three games will be: at home with Stoke City, away at West Ham and at home with Blackpool. Can any of these three teams stop them from winning?

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted that he was lucky not to get sacked after getting just 10 points in 10 games with the Blues. However, he stated that the right thing to do would be to let him work until the end of the season and then judge him.

Chelsea never managed to get their hands on the Champions League trophy but this season seems to be the right one for Ancelotti: "Chelsea have the maturity to win the Champions League in this season. It is the cup that is lacking at this club. There's a particular attention towards this tournament as Chelsea has reached the semi-finals five times in the last seven years. The season's started well and fortunately we still have room for improvement." What do you think?

Chelsea suffered another defeat and this time struggling bottom club Wolves scraped past the Blues. Ancelotti's side are now nine points off league leaders Manchester United having played a game more, but the manager remains quite optimistic: "We have to maintain confidence and move on. Nothing is lost in the season. It is difficult to fight for the title but nothing is lost. There are a lot of games and we have to keep going."

Manchester City and Chelsea will clash in the derby tomorrow but the battle between the two Italian managers will go beyond that game for sure. Ancelotti has won the Italian Serie A once, the Champions League twice and also the Premier League last season. Mancini has left his mark in Italy too after winning three consecutive titles with Inter Milan.

Chelsea grabbed a convincing 4-0 win at Bolton yesterday and that follows another win a weekend before, 2-0 at home against Blackburn. The Blues are now in 4th place on 41 points, seven points behind leaders Manchester United but the Red Devils have a game in hand.

Chelsea will meet Marseille at Stamford Bridge after winning the opening game 4-1 at MSK Zilina. Marseille got off to a bad start by losing 1-0 at home to Spartak Moscow.
