Vote for: If you were Ryan Babel, what would you do?
ryan babel | Jan 7th, 2010 | by Editor

| I'd stay in Liverpool, fight for my right to play. |

| I'd do my best to move to a different team that'll appreciate me. |

| I'd quit football and find a job doing something else I'm better at. |
Ryan Babel hasn't seen much playing time on the Anfield pitch, and he's interested in moving to a different team to prove himself before the World Cup and reach the Netherlands squad. Benitez, however, isn't keen on selling the attacker, mostly because he won't have the budget to bring in a decent replacement.

ryan babel | Apr 29th, 2010 | by Kevin Walsh

| He has scored some crackers before. I think he'll be great! |

| I hope Stevey G is on form. He'll have to take it upon himself. |

| Babel's pace will get him away from defenders but I worry about his consistancy. |
Rafa Benitez announced Dutch speedster Ryan Babel will lead the attack tonight in their second leg clash with Athletico Madrid. Is it a wise move for the Reds or are they going to struggle, as Tommy Smyth puts it, to "stick one in the auld Onion Bag?"

Vote for: Ryan Babel charged by FA for a comment posted on Twitter! What do you think?
premier league | Jan 11th, 2011 | by JohnnyKarp

| He deserves to be punished, that was a stupid thing to do! |

| The FA has no sense of humor, that's what it is! |
After the FA Cup game between Liverpool and Manchester United Dutch winger Ryan Babel vented his frustration on Twitter saying that referee Howard Webb helped Manchester United to win that game. This was his comment: "And they call him one of the best referees? That's a joke. SMH (shaking my head)." He also added a mocked-up photo of Howard Webb wearing a Manchester United shirt. Babel is the first player to be charged with improper conduct over an offence on Twitter.

Vote for: Liverpool agreed to sell Ryan Babel, is that a good decision for the club?
premier league | Jan 19th, 2011 | by JohnnyKarp

| Good decision, they don't need him anymore. |

| They should have kept him at least until the end of the season! |
Liverpool accepted a 7 million pound bid from German side Hoffenheim and Ryan Babel is expected to sign a contract with the Bundesliga side. Babel has been unable to make the anticipated impact on Merseyside following his £11.5million signing in the summer of 2007. He made just 31 Premier League starts in his time with Liverpool.
