Argentina got their 2010 World Cup campaign off to a winning start against Nigeria today. Diego Maradona's men beat their South African opponents 1-0 to give themselves a very good chance of progressing out of Group B. Gabriel Heinze scored the only goal of the game for the Argentines. Vote for: Will Lionel Messi finally manage to score at the 2010 World Cup?

surely score one sooner later
He will surely score one sooner or later.
able score end tournament
He won't be able to score until the end of the tournament.

Argentina are doing well, they won their first two games and are qualified for the round of sixteen. Lionel Messi played pretty well too but so far he failed to get his name on the score sheet. Will he have the opportunity to feel the joy of a World Cup goal?

No, he's not good enough to be near the side!

Jonas Gutierrez scored a fantastic individual goal against Barnsley yesterday and Diego Maradona insists that he's a big member of the Argentina side. However, should he start in South Africa in June?

Poor performance, they were lucky to win.

Argentina defeated Mexico 3-1 in the first knockout stage of the World Cup thanks to two goals from Carlos Tevez and one from Gonzalo Higuain. Mexico did claw one back through Hernandez but it was too late. What do you think about their performance?

Argentina have Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez, hitman Diego Milito to lead the line, Diego Maradona as coach, and the world to conquer. Argentina might possess these qualities, but certainly do not look like it heading into the tournament.
