aquilani great signing liverpool
Aquilani has been a great signing for Liverpool

There were certainly a few raised eye-brows last summer when Liverpool spent a staggering £20 million on a midfielder not many had every heard of. Since arriving at Anfield, Alberto Aquilani has made only a handful of appearances for the Reds. What do you think? Did Liverpool make a mistake signing him? Vote now

ridiculous waste space
Ridiculous, he's a waste of space!
starting adapt great
He's starting to adapt now and he'll be great

Alberto Aquilani arrived from Roma to Anfield with high hopes and a rather dismal haircut. The only thing that's changed is the hopes, they've been curtailed with injuries, poor results and an overall poor season. What do you think of his stay on Anfield so far?

Should Juventus pay 14 million pounds to keep midfielder Alberto Aquilani?

pay worth that
They should pay, he's worth more than that!
quite expensive good players less
That's quite expensive, they can get good players for less.

Italian midfielder Alberto Aquilani is currently on loan at Juventus from Liverpool but the Italian club will have to pay 14 million pounds if they want to keep the player on a permanent basis after the end of the current season. After a £20m move to Liverpool from Roma in 2009, Aquilani struggled with injuries in his debut Premier League campaign and it was decided last summer, when Roy Hodgson was in charge of the English club, that a temporary return to Italy would be beneficial. Aquilani has enjoyed his time with Juventus, who are understood to want to keep the creative midfielder.
