With the finale of the World Cup now only a memory, many fans want to celebrate Spain's victory by getting their own jersey. The success of the European squads has sparked a renewed interest in this continents teams. Even though the 2009 - 2010 season is not over yet, there are some changes planned that will affect everything from the uniforms to the sponsors.



One of the premiere teams in the English League is Manchester United. It lays claims to be one of the most affluent organizations in the entire sporting world. They could be called the New York Yankees of the football playing countries on this continent.



Many fans have grown to love the look of these soccer (football) players as they make their way up and down the pitch, buying souvenir jerseys to wear in support of their favorite team. As new sponsors have taken over at Manchester United (AON for AIG), a more retro look has been shown. This tribute to the 80's has fans abuzz about the distinct styling and colors. There is at least one shirt that features a 50/50 split right down the front with the logo of AON emblazoned across the breast.



This has been one of the best selling jersey for a long time and now with the proposed changes being unveiled recently, fan reaction has been mixed. Approximately 50% of supporters like the "new look", while the other 50% thinks it's not so hot. This club has long been known for its commitment to excellence, so the uniform styles will be eventually straightened out as well.



There are still a great variety of colors to choose from for fans who want this look. Since it is still the premiere program in the league, it is hard to pass up this opportunity.
