The world's best football managers not all in South Africa for the World Cup but some of them have made their way to South Africa to watch the games from the stands. Football managers such as Fabio Capello, now coaching England and Sven-Goran Erikson, coaching the Ivory Coast, are two of the world's best football managers that are managing in the 2010 World Cup.

Here is a short list of summarizing three of the best football managers in the sport today. Some have achieved greatness on an International level and others have made their mark in the Premier League and UEFA. However, they all have names synonymous with winning and created talented players.

1) Alex Ferguson.

Alex Ferguson accepted the job to manage the Manchester United team in 1986. Since accepting the job, Ferguson has exceeded all expectations, winning over 30 trophies and 11 Premier League titles over his 24 year reign of terror over the rest of the Premier League. The 68 year old Ferguson is not afraid to mix it up with officials when needed, which is his main down fall as a coach.

2) Fabio Capello.

Fabio Capello is one of the greatest managers in football but his style leads to Capello being underrated. Capello is quiet a tactician that knows how to get the best out of his players. After this World Cup, managing the English squad, Capello plans on retiring. England has a chance to make the semi finals and if they make it, Capello will be able to retire on a high note.

3) Sven-Goran Erikson.

Sven-Goran Erikson accepted the job to coach the Ivory Coast and then his star player Didier Drogba broke his arm (talk about unlucky breaks). Sven-Goran Erikson can pull through this and if he gets the Ivory Coast to the knockout round he will be hailed as an unqualified success.
