Should Chelsea extend Michael Ballack's contract?

Michael Ballack's contract expires this summer and so far Chelsea didn't make an offer to extend it. Should they keep the German midfielder?

They won't find a better replacement, they should give him a good contract.

He could still be very useful, he's a hard worker and any team would love to have him.
