Juventus' Brazilian striker never played for his home land in international games and always said that he would be willing to play for Italy. Now that he has the citizenship it's all up to Italy's boss, Marcello Lippi.

Gilardino is better, they don't really need Amauri.

It wouldn't be fair to the other players, he should be called up only after the World Cup.
