Fabio Capello really can't be ignoring Darren Bent's strong claims for a World Cup spot. He hit 21 goals yesterday with a nice over high-flying Birmingham City. Surely the former Spurs man will earn a spot in the team now that Defoe is unlikely to feature?

its is simple goals win games bent has 24 goals this season 2 of them are in the leauge, he is also the 3rd top scorer this season in the premiership, and also what has heskey done this season, F-all

As an Ipswich town fan I wish we still had him! Definatly deserves to be in the England squad though.
