Lionel Messi scored twice this evening to help earn Barcelona a place in the Champions League quarter-finals. The Argentinian international has been in superb form lately but is he is the best player in the world? He is the current FIFA World Player of the Year but is he still the best around?

If they both keep playing the way they are, it will be interesting to see who wins the player of the year award next year!

Although I do love watching Messi play, I voted for Ronaldo because he is just incredible!
