Capello calls time on Beckham saying that he is too old to be part of his future plans. Do you agree?

Here is what Capello said about Beckham's future in the England squad: "I say thank you very much for helping me at the World Cup but probably he is a little bit old. I hope when David is okay he can play his last game here at Wembley in a friendly to say goodbye and thank you very much to the crowd. I won't be picking him for any more competitive matches. David is a fantastic player, he was really important, but we have to see the new players for the future because the age is important for a lot of people, not only for David."


I guess Capello is right but he should have told this to Beckham before revealing it to the press, that\'s what a gentleman would have done.
